Sarah was bitten by the acting bug while in the Prep School. To avoid being delayed for practice in the field the drama teacher suggested that she not practice and instead being part of the cast in Richard III. This was the moment that Sarah's passion for acting started. Sarah's passion for acting led her to pursue an double major in English with Theatre in Hamilton College. Sarah completed her senior year studying theatre abroad in London and Oxford. Her parents, who were also talented artists as well as English teachers helped her pursue her love of the arts. Her studies and talent were rewarded. Samantha Who?, Law and Order Six Feet Under Brothers & Sisters Samantha Who? as well as a variety of other TV shows have included her. Without A Trace CSI Miami Bones feature film, as well as numerous stage shows, including Four Single Fathers Falling For Grace and As You Like It. Sarah's speaking on Alzheimer's does not stop at her role on television. Sarah hosted the annual Sardi's celebration three years consecutively and was the presenter at the end of Sardi's celebration in March of 2016. Sarah is a mother of three on both coasts. She commutes between the two to jobs.

Sarah discovered her love for acting during her time at Prep school. She was captivated by acting after being spotted by her drama teacher who was walking through his garden in order to make it to her field hockey class at the right time. Sarah was able to blend her love of acting with her studies by double majoring at the level of English in Hamilton College and pursuing a study abroad program in London, Oxford and London during her junior year.
