Sarah Rafferty

Sarah was captivated by acting while she was still in pre-school. When her drama teacher caught her running across his lawn, in order to miss soccer practice, he instructed she to not practice and join the cast of Richard III and thus began her adoration of acting. Sarah took the decision to follow her passion for the art and pursue her studies by majoring in English and theatre at Hamilton College performing in theater abroad in London and Oxford in her senior year. After graduation, she graduated as a magna cumlaude from Hamilton was able to continue her studies for a year at Yale Drama school. The passion she had for studying the arts was aided by her parents her mother who was the chairperson for the English Department at the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Greenwich CT and her father a skilled artist. The talent she displayed and the studies resulted in a successful career. Her appearances have also been in a variety of TV shows, including Law and Order Six Feet Under Brothers & Sisters Samantha Who? Without a Trace CSI Miami, Bones as and feature films like Four Single Fathers or Falling For Grace and stage productions like As You Like It and Gemini. In addition to her television acting, Sarah is an ambassador of her organization, the Alzheimer's Association and consistently speaks about the issue. Sarah is a 3 times Sardi's host and has presented in the organization's last Sardi's in the month of March, 2016. Sarah lives in the east and west-coasts. Her husband and daughters are also able to travel back and forth from Toronto to go to work.

Sarah discovered her love for acting during her time at Prep school. She was captivated by acting after being spotted by her drama teacher who was walking through his garden in order to make it to her field hockey class at the right time. Sarah was able to blend her love of acting with her studies by double majoring at the level of English in Hamilton College and pursuing a study abroad program in London, Oxford and London during her junior year.
